Yay! My name became available on Blogger, so I grabbed it :)
You see, I've never been just one thing. No one is. I'm a knitter, sure, but I'm also an artist. I am an award-winning journalist, as well as a poet and fiction writer. And creative nonfiction, too.
I also love sewing, embroidery, crocheting, spinning, and all things fibery. I studied ballet for many (of my much younger) years. And I'm a photographer... And--to quote an old shampoo ad--so on, and so on, and so on...
This blog will bring together all the different facets of my life, with (for now, I think) the main focus on writing/poetry and fiber arts. A much better idea than chopping it all up into separate blogs, don't you think?
Meanwhile, I will be working on a personal website, where I can organize my content under different tabs to make things a little easier for "my readers."
And that's what it's all about: you. My wonderful readers, who drop in to see what I've been working on. You bring so much meaning and joy into my life. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
