A Moving Poem
Flood of socks subdued.
Old shoes sent down the river.
Daily, boxes ebb.

Late Spring
Under billowing, flapping
clouds, summer,
the interloper, stalks—
voyeur lingering
just a little
too long outside
my windows and I,
wary of commitment,
tiptoe to lace's
edge and peer
out watching
m
y watcher.
