Isn't this, she asked, the best way
     to get coffee stains out of
          a yellow-gingham curtain?

Isn't this the best way
     to make sure I get all those
          tiny chips of glass up off the floor?

Isn't this the best way
     to get to the hospital without
          having to drive on the freeway
               during rush hour?

Isn't this just like a man?
