Coming Storms (Day 585)

Chrysanthemum clouds
burst like distant autumn.
Leaves fall—diving, delighted
birds—float briefly, and sink
into a cold, bronze mirror.
Sweetly spiced and warm
as tea, the rising wind
warns of coming storms.
